Mid-March Do'd and Don'ts

Its mid-march, and im going to be doing a do's and don'ts every month or two months or so in the middle of each month. Sometimes it will lean more twards advice and sometimes it will lean more twards do's and dont's. This month i'm shooting for dos and donts, so lets get started!!
DO:
Read reviews! They are your friends!!! Trust me on this!! Please! Reviews are there for you in making your decision. More times than one i have gone on a website to browse and i find a product that i think i'm going to like and i read what the website says and they are going to make it sound divine, and then you get it and it is HORRIBLE! But reviews dont lie! People are telling you how they feel about the product and most likely there not lieing. What i like to do is take 2 pages or so of reviews. Count the good ones and then count the bad ones. Find the advrage of each. Which one is heigher? Thats your answer, if there are more good, then buy it, if there are more bad, ditch it and move on!
March Example:
Smokey Shadow Blast by Covergirl. I HAD to have it! It looks sooo pretty on Drew in the commercials, i even looked online at a video on how to use it! Worst product ever. It, after one blink, goes in your crease! All of it! Its so greesey and heavy and just not good. I then looked online at reviews and i found that i wasnt the only one who felt this way.
DO:
REASURCH! Sometimes it seems reviews arent enough and it is perfactly normal to go online and cyber stock your next victim. I mean your next makeup/hair product. Google is your friend!!
March Example:
I learned from my shadow blast malfunction so i looked up a new foundation i have been dieing to try. It was by Tarte, so i knew i'd be paying a really good deal of money on it. I have really dry skin and I needed a liquid foundation that will cover that all day and not dry out my skin or leave a heavy, cakey feeling. I reasurched it and got it and it was amazing! Best product ever and i plan to include it in my witer favorites! However, I did say im going to steer clear of non-drugstore products so i will NOT be doing a review on it, i will just simply breefly explain it. DONT:
Always listen to the sales assicociate. I know thats their job, to tell you what is, and isnt a good idea and such, but most times there paid commision. That means they get paid for the products they sell. So there going to try and sell you the most expencive thing they can give to you! Espessily in this ecconomy. So what i suggest is that you know what you want going onto a store, so when you need an answer, have a question like "would this product cover my redness?" or "What kind of coverage does this foundation give?" And if they answer with no.. this 100 dollar more expencive product will though or thats a crappy foundation buy this one for only 50 dollars more to get the coverage you need! You know there only yanking your chain.
March Exaple:
Ultra. i Love that store but heavens sake! The people there JUMP DOWN MY THROAT from the second i stepped in the place! Luckly i knew what i wanted or i would have been talked into things i didnt even know i needed!

Unfortinuatly, i dont have a 2nd dont on the list this month. In the future I'll try and do at least 2 of each, but this month thats all i've come across!

Rimmel London haul!

I have to admitt, I love Rimmel London products because they are inexpencive, and good quality! I went to Target and I took a look at a few products i'd like to review! Enjoy!

First Rimmel soft kohl eye pencil in pure white. Sorry that this picture is hard to see, but this is the only one i could find. I think its so bennificial to have a white liner cause it brightens your eyes and makes you look awake! This eye pencil is very inexpencive at around $3.75 and it goes on my waterline quite nicely! Over all i am glod i made the purchace!

OK, so my next item is this eyefull eye pencil! I am unsure the exact name of the color but it is the one in the picture. I love the color so much! it is so so pretty! It goes on lighter than the pencil looks and has shimmers of gold and sliver. My only problem is it creases ):! I have this problem with a lot of cream based eye pencils but i found a way to fix it! After applying, simply apply a small ammount of powder eye shodow with the same shade, or a complimenting shade such as a sliver, pale gold, or white. It stays on and doesnt crease!

The last product i am going to review is the stay matter pressed powder in translucent. Even though I live in flordia, I don't live on the beach, and i do not have a very good tan in the winter. This color matches my skin tone perfactly! I love it! Its so light weight, not cakey, and very soft on my skin! It doesnt make my skin irritated and it covers  all mmy redness, so i can wear it alone, or use it as a setting powder.

March Maddenss!

Flip flops, Flip flops and more flip flops!

What girl has too many flip flops? (dont ask my mother that question!) I love old navybecause there soo colorfull and affordable!

Next on the march madness list is BATH AND BODY WORKS!!! Idk which is worse old navy addiction or bath and body addiction i found soo many good deals on my most recent shopping trip, i just had to share!! First, Candles. Their candles can get pricy, but i walked in and i saw a sign that changed everything! It said, and i quote, "2 for $20" I almost fainted! ok i was being a little dramatic there but still! Their spring candles smell like tropical paradise! There amazing! The two i ended up going with were Carribean escape (above), and Island margarita (below)!

And my final March Maddness splurge was the one and only bath and body collection of new fragrences.......

These were buy 2 get one free, and orginally i was going to choose my favorite and get the whole collection of this, the body wash and lotion, but i couldnt decide what one was my favorite. I had to have them all! They all smell soo goood! I for sure plan on going back and purchacing the whole set to all of them. I am going to the bahammas this summer and i wanted one of these ones to take with me and i think i am going with Hawaii Coconut! I think its my favorite! Ill be sure to do a review once i get my hands on the lotion and body wash ;)!

Sonia Kashuk: Nail polish reviews

16Tauped: I decided to splurge and buy this nail polish. I was really impressed! I love sonia kashuk's products and i am almost never disapointed when it comes to her. I love this nail polish, however every story has two sides. This product has a beautiful color and goes on nicely, but it's thick and hard to dry. It aslo doesnt stay on very well at all. I have to constantly put on new coats of clear for it to keep the shine and stay on for a longer period of time. This is not uncommon with nail polishes though. So over all, I'd buy it again.

19Tutti Frutti: This is by far my favorite new nail polish of the spring season! I do not have the same problem with this one as i do the other nail polish above. It stays on, keeps its shine, and is so so cute! This is the PERFACT color for the warmer weather and i absolutly LOVE it! I  wasnt expceting buying this but when i went into target, i automaticly go to the Sonia Kashuk section and I saw it and had to have it!

Say Yes To Cucumbers: Review

So, I have decided for my first review i would do something i found at my local target here in Flordia. Say yes to cucumbers? YES YES YES!!!! I love this product. It was around $6! I have such red, sensitive skin and this stuff is amazing! Its my first Say yes to...... product and i know it will not be my last! What i love about it most is its organic, and it leaves my skin feeling as fresh as it looks! I just absolutly love this stuff and i can't express to you enough how much it has saved me! I am so bad with washing my face because it's so unpleasnt when it comes to me. My skin just simply doesnt like to be messed with. Its dry, and stubborn. This stuff doesnt dry out my skin, I dont even need a moustrizer! I never thought i'd say that! Its so fresh smelling too! I just love it! I can't get enough!

Beginning

Ok, so i am new to all of this, but I am intrested in bloging since i've been reading other blogs and things about make-up products and fashion. I am aware that a lot of people are not going to read this and i am ok with that because i'm just starting out and trying something new. By the way, if you are reading this, I have no clue how to work this website, so my blog posts could be boring for the first few times, untill I get the hang of it. I am intrested in reviewing products i have tried to give you all information on whats what in the make-up community. The stuff i'll most likely be including are:
